Top-fermented at Scourmont Abbey. Bottling takes place at Baileux, with sugar and yeast added for bottle conditioning.

From Chimay 175 to Chimay Jaune
Chimay 175 was a limited edition launched in 2025 for Scourmont Abbey’s 175th anniversary. The March 2026 announcement presents Jaune as its continuation within the permanent range.
Jaune and Dorée are different beers
The names can be confusing, but Chimay Jaune is 6.5% ABV and Chimay Dorée is 4.8%. When comparing or ordering them, use the full name and stated alcohol content rather than the colour suggested by the name.
