Amber with ruby highlights

Recognisable by its red cap, Rochefort 6 offers a smooth, fruity expression of Saint-Rémy’s character. Its amber colour and ruby highlights introduce cereal and caramel notes carried by a gentle body. At 7.5% ABV it is the least alcoholic beer in the Rochefort range: the number refers to an old measurement of wort density, not its alcohol content.

Craft and tradition

Brewing

A top-fermented beer brewed at Notre-Dame de Saint-Rémy Abbey in Rochefort. Malted barley, sugar, hops and spices form the recipe described by the brewery. The number 6 preserves a link to an old Belgian scale for measuring wort density.

Packaged in 33 cl bottles. The brewery recommends serving between 12 and 14 °C to appreciate its cereal and caramel notes.
